Safety is our prime consideration at Nantyr; staff employed by the centre are all trained, experienced and nationally qualified to lead outdoor adventure activities. Nantyr Outdoor Education centre is registered with The Adventure Activities Licensing Authority as licensed to provide specified activities under the following headings: Climbing, Water sports and Trekking. In addition to this we operate to stringent safety standards laid down by Wrexham County Borough Council and work within National Governing Body guidelines.

Equipment

The centre is fully equipped and provides participants with all the necessary safety equipment and specialist clothing required for outdoor activities. All equipment supplied by the centre meets the relevant industry safety standards and is subject to regular, recorded safety checks.
